Hospitalist APRN (Acute care) New

This job requires working a rotating schedule. 

Responsibilities:

-Provide advance nursing care to adult/gerontology population

-Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care 

-Utilize advanced clinical skills and knowledge to provide specialized care in areas such as ventilator management, medical imaging interpretation, and critical care 

-Adhere to professional standards and guidelines in all aspects of practice

-Document patient encounters accurately and timely using Allscripts

-Provide support and guidance to nursing staff in the delivery of quality patient care

Requirements:

-Valid Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license in the state of Arkansas 

-Certification as an APRN in the appropriate specialty area Adult/Gerontology Acute Care Practitioner 

-Prefer experience as an APRN in hospital setting, will consider new graduates

-Stong clinical knowledge and expertise in the area of specialization

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-Familiarity with evidence-based practice guidelines and current healthcare standards
