Conference Overview / Objectives:
- Discuss factors that contribute to the evidence based selection of antihypertensive agents
- Select primary and secondary agent to achieve control of hypertension
- Identify genetic predisposition, risk factors and criteria for diagnosis of Depressive Disorders
- Explore evidence based practice for the treatment of Depressive Disorders in primary care settings
- To provide an overview of the Tennessee legislative efforts in 2015
- To identify what action need to be taken to be ready for the 2016 legislative session
- Introduce the criteria for the diagnosis of Diabetes Mellitus
- Discuss the pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic approaches to the treatment of diabetes
- Identify the clinical indicators of SIRS
- Identify the clinical indicators of Sepsis and severe Sepsis.
- Identify components of a normal EKG
- Identify abnormal EKG findings requiring further evaluation
